Taipei Liaison Office in the Republic of South Africa Invites South African and Southern African Athletes to Participate in the 2025 World Masters Games

The TLO cordially invites athletes and sports enthusiasts from South Africa and Southern Africa to register for the 2025 World Masters Games, which will be held from May 17 to 30, 2025, in the cities of Taipei and New Taipei, Taiwan. As the world's largest sports event for athletes aged 30 and above, the World Masters Games (WMG) aims to provide participants with an opportunity to enjoy the excitement of competition while showcasing their skills and strength.
The 2025 WMG will feature more than 30 sports disciplines, including track and field, swimming, cycling, and more. Whether participants are amateur enthusiasts or seasoned athletes, they will find suitable events to compete in, challenge themselves, and engage with competitors from across the globe.
Registration is now open, and those who register before September 17, 2024, will receive a 20% discount on the registration fee. Additionally, all participants are invited to attend a grand welcome party free of charge, where they can experience Taiwan’s warm hospitality and vibrant cultural diversity.
