Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Atlanta represents the Republic of China (Taiwan) in the southeastern region of the United States. Our service area includes Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Serving the equivalent function of a consulate general, TECO offers consular services and is dedicated to promoting cooperation and mutual understanding between Taiwan and the Southeast United States in economic, cultural and other areas.
In addition to its main office proper, TECO in Atlanta has two divisions:
- The Commercial Division's purpose is to promote trade and economic relations between Taiwan and the Southeastern United States. This office facilitates bilateral trade and investment between the Republic of China on Taiwan and the U.S. by providing resources such as up-to-date trade statistics and information on trade and investment related regulations as well as assistance to those interested in trading with local Taiwan firms and participating in Taiwan trade shows.
- The Culture Center of TECO provides facility for cultural activities, Mandarin teaching, social functions, seminars, libraries, literature, etc.
