The Science and Technology Division (STD) at the Taipei Representative Office in the UK (TROUK) is one of the 17 overseas offices of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) of Taiwan. The director of the STD represents the NSTC in the regions that it covers. The STD covers affairs in the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
It aims to promote collaborations in science and technology, involving policy-makers, funding agencies, academics, and industry representatives, mainly through bilateral agreements and match-making activities.
