APPLICATIONS for the Taiwan Fellowship 2021 are now open.
Scholars including professors, associate professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, PhD candidates and research fellows with relevant areas of expertise are welcome to send in their applications by June 30, 2020.
The fellowship is awarded to foreign experts and scholars specializing in social sciences and humanities related to Taiwan.
Successful participants will be required to conduct advanced research at Taiwanese universities or academic institutions in Taiwan.
Research topics include but are not limited to Taiwan’s foreign policy, New Southbound Policy, Asia-Pacific regional security, Taiwan’s participation in regional economic mechanism, gender equality study, and combating disinformation.
The fellowship duration is from three months to one year depending on the recipient’s research proposal.
The recipient will receive a monthly stipend and one direct round-trip ticket from U.S.A. to Taiwan.
