This Office was the “Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Kansas City” and was located in Kansas City, Missouri for 30 years. It relocated to Denver, Colorado on April 17, 2015, and was renamed as the “Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Denver” on April 27, 2015.
The service area of this Office includes six states in the U.S. Midwest, which are Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. The primary function of this Office is to protect the rights of Taiwan’s overseas nationals, as well as promoting bilateral exchange and cooperation in trade, investment, culture, education and tourism between the six states and Taiwan. The Office also provides consular services, including issuing passports, visas, authenticating documents, and helping Taiwan nationals with emergency issues.
The current Director General is Mr. Bill S.C. Huang, who took office on March 22, 2022.
