Taipei Liaison Office sends love to the rural area of Limpopo

On behalf of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Deputy Representative Anthony Ho of the Taipei Liaison Office in the RSA handed over comforters and soccer uniforms to the under-privileged communities in the province of Limpopo on 9 December 2019. MPs from the South African Parliament and around 200 community members attended the ceremony to show support for this compassionate donation.
Deputy Representative Ho indicated that Taiwan values the people-to-people relationship between South Africa and Taiwan and is delighted to extend a helping hand to the rural areas in need. It is hoped that through the humanitarian assistance offered by the Taiwan Government that the friendship between our two countries will continue to grow and blossom, he said.
Finally, he expressed appreciation to the care givers present at the ceremony for their long-time dedication to the community work and wished everyone a peaceful and joyful festive season.
