Ambassador Ho and Madam Ho attend the solemn liturgy of the Lord's Passion on Good Friday presided over by Pope Leo XIV

Ambassador Ho and Madam Ho, accompanied by Counselor David Li and Secretary Wei Wang, attended the Celebration of the Passion of the Lord at St. Peter's Basilica at 5:00 PM on April 3, Good Friday. This marked the first time Pope Leo XIV presided over the liturgy during his papacy.

The liturgy began with the Pope lying prostrate before the cross to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the redemption of the world. During the ceremony, the Pope kissed and exalted the Holy Cross. He also offered special prayers for those in public office and those suffering from war.
