In order to allow international friends who have gone to Taiwan for study or visit Taiwan to have a platform for mutual exchange and information sharing, we held the inaugural meeting of the Taiwan Alumni Association on October 11. Including Berkeley University East Asia Scholars who have visited Taiwan, Yuayu Enrichment Scholarships from the Ministry of Education, Fulbright Scholars jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Academic Exchange Foundation, and short-term education staff from the Ministry of Education were invited to establish the "Taiwan Alumni Association" in San Francisco to share their experience in Taiwan.
In the speech, Director General Scott Lai welcomed the alumni who stayed in Taiwan to gather together, and also looked forward to everyone joining the TAA San Francisco Chapter Facebook fans page, in addition to obtaining Taiwan-related information, the Department will also hold online and physical experience sharing and career planning from time to time.
In addition, at the inaugural meeting, we also introduced information on the Taiwan Employment Gold Card, Contact Taiwan talent recruitment, study abroad and sightseeing in Taiwan.
Dr. Kharis Templeman, a fellow at Hoover Institution at Stanford University, served as the president of the first Taiwan Alumni Association, and all friends who stayed in Taiwan also shared interesting facts or experiences about going to Taiwan for training, study, study or visit.
