Director General Chou Attends “Taiwan Extravaganza” Cultural Event at Miami-Dade Westchester Library

On May 16, Director General Charles Chou attended the “Taiwan Extravaganza” event at Westchester Regional Library, hosted by the Miami-Dade County Asian American Advisory Board (AAAB) and the Miami-Dade Public Library System.
In his remarks, Director General Chou praised Miami-Dade’s strong commitment to multicultural inclusion and highlighted the meaningful contributions of the Asian Pacific American community to local development. He also expressed appreciation to the Formosan Association for Public Affairs and Tina Wang for their active support and participation.
The event showcased vibrant Taiwanese cultural performances, including diabolo ( yo-yo), traditional puppet theater, and the energetic Electric Techno Nezha performance. Guests also enjoyed Taiwanese specialties such as bubble tea and scallion pancakes, drawing many local families and community members eager to experience Taiwan’s culture firsthand. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of community spirit.
