Taiwan Medical and Overseas Community Leaders Unite in Orlando for ATS 2026 Welcome Event

On May 17, Director General Chou joined the Taiwanese community in Orlando to warmly welcome a delegation of more than 20 Taiwanese thoracic medicine specialists, including the leadership of Taiwan’s Society of Thoracic and Critical Care Medicine and senior physicians from major hospitals in Taiwan, who were attending the 2026 American Thoracic Society (ATS 2026) Annual Meeting in the United States.
The evening reception brought together prominent overseas Taiwanese community leaders from Central and South Florida, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere of exchange and fellowship.
Through dialogue spanning medicine, technology, and the overseas Taiwanese community, the event once again highlighted the unity, mutual support, and collective strength of Taiwanese people around the world.
