The Press Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles, will present a photo exhibition entitled "Enchanting Taiwan" from January 31 to February 13, 2011 at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library, 318 S. Ramona Ave., Monterey Park. Admission is free and open to the public as follows:

Wednesday-Thursday 10am-6pm

The photo exhibit highlights the beauty of Taiwan as seen through its scenic landscapes with the primary focus on folk customs reflecting the heart and spirit of the Taiwanese people. Each photograph is a unique work by outstanding Taiwanese photographers who captures the true essence of Taiwan through the camera’s lens.
In addition, the movie "Chocolate Rap" directed by Chi Y. Lee will be screened at the library on Sunday, February 13 at 2PM.
"Chocolate Rap" is an uplifting and enjoyable feature film on love, friendship and break dancing among the twenty-something urban residents of Taipei. Choco secures not only his legend, but also top manager Pachinko until a car accident change their lives.
Winner of the Taipei Grand Award at the 2006 Taipei Film Festival; 2006 Icaro Festival Award; and the 2005 Tokyo International Film Festival "Winds of Asia."
