Taiwan-USC Application
Eligibility
To apply for the Taiwan-USC Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, candidates must have received their Ph.D. no earlier than July 21, 2014 and must have completed their doctoral degree by July 21, 2017. The degree must come from a Taiwanese institution. Taiwanese nationals who have received degrees elsewhere are also eligible to apply.
Suitable research areas include, but are not limited to the fields of: sustainable energy, technology and circular economics, intelligent design and engineering, biomedical and health-related sciences, defense technologies, and biological sciences.
The Application
Applicants will be evaluated by review committees at the University of Southern California and the Ministry of Education of Taiwan based on their academic accomplishments, merit of their research proposal, and their potential to contribute in global research collaboration.
This joint program will accept up to thirty postdoctoral fellows.
The salary for postdoctoral fellows is $68,000 per year minus the cost of their benefits package. They are expected to reside in the Los Angeles area during the academic year.
