Director General CP Liu and Mrs. Liu, together with Deputy Director Vincent Lu and Deputy Director Shawn Hugh Yang, had the pleasure to take part in the New Year’s National Flag-Raising Ceremony at the Chinese School of Guam on Jan. 1, 2025, hosted by the United Chinese Association of Guam.

The attendees enjoyed a sunny and beautiful weather that morning and this symbolized that 2025 is a good and bright year for us. Additionally, a lion dance was performed after the flag raising making the event lively and exciting. DG Liu thanked sincerely the Taiwanese Community in Guam, in his remarks, for their support and assistance over the past year since he took office last January and wished them, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Overseas Community Affairs Council, a happy new year as well as all the best for the year of 2025.
