President Lai visited Guam from December 4 to 5, 2024. On the evening of December 4, Guam Governor Lou Leon Guerrero and First Gentleman Jeffrey Cook personally welcomed President Lai at Guam International Airport. On December 5, President Lai, accompanied by Secretary-General Pan Meng-an, Foreign Minister Lin, Chia-lung, Amb. Alexander Tah-ray Yui and other delegation members, attended a morning tea gathering at the Governor's Residence. The group also visited the Guam Legislature and participated in the banquet of Taiwan overseas compatriot .In the afternoon of December 5, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero and First Gentleman Cook bid farewell to President Lai and his delegation at Guam International Airport.
