On October 3rd, the Taiwanese Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Atlanta hosted a grand celebration of the 113th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan) at the Georgia Aquarium. The event was made even more special by the presence of two Taiwanese whale sharks!
Director-General Elliot Wang and his colleagues, joined by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams, and over 200 distinguished guests, including representatives from Guatemala, members of the "Southeastern US State Legislature Taiwan Connection," and prominent figures from various fields, commemorated this important day.
Guests were treated to a delightful evening of Taiwanese cuisine, a signature Kavalan Whiskey Cocktail, and refreshing "Xing Fu Tang" Boba tea, all while enjoying the breathtaking sight of whale sharks, beluga whales, and other marine creatures.
The celebration was a testament to the enduring friendship between Taiwan and the United States!
