Taiwan’s Deputy Representative to the United States, Ms. Andrea Yang, attended the 2024 States and Nation Policy Summit hosted by ALEC, where she witnessed the passage of the first-ever U.S. model resolution refuting China's falsification of UNGA Resolution 2758.
At the summit, Deputy Rep. Yang highlighted Taiwan's role as a responsible and reliable global partner. She expressed gratitude to ALEC for publicly clarifying that UNGA Resolution 2758 never determined Taiwan's status and called on like-minded partners worldwide to unite in countering China's misuse of the resolution to exclude Taiwan from international participation.
