More than 250 people attended the launch event of the U.S.-Taiwan Eco-Campus Partnership program at the North Chevy Chase Elementary School (NCCES) on March 13, 2015, including Principal Renee Wallace-Stevens, students and faculty of the NCCES, Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Jane Nishida, and officials from the Department of State, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Maryland Department of Natural Resources, and Maryland Department of Education.
