Taiwan bags 3 golds, 2 silvers, 1 bronze in Archery World Cup

Taipei, June 11 (CNA) Taiwanese archers won three gold, two silver and one bronze medals in the second stage of the 2017 Archery World Cup in Antalya, Turkey, that ended on Sunday.
In the recurve mixed team race, Taiwan's Wei Chun-heng (魏均珩) and Peng Chia-mao (彭家楙) beat their French rivals 5-3 in the final to earn a gold, following Peng's team's win of women's recurve gold earlier in the day. Peng's teammates were Tan Ya-ting (譚雅婷) and and Le Chien-ying (雷千瑩).
Chen Hsiang-hsuan (陳享宣) won the Chinese Taipei team's first gold Saturday in men's individual compound event.
On Sunday, Lin Shih-chia (林詩嘉) lost to Ksenia Perova of Russia 5-6 in the recurve women's final, settling for a silver.
The other silver medal was earned by Chen Hsiang-hsuan and Chen Yi-hsuan (陳怡瑄) in mixed compound.
Le, who was edged out by compatriot Lin in the semifinal, beat Colombian Ana Maria Rendon 6-0 to win a bronze medal in women's recurve event.
The Archery World Cup is a circuit of five outdoor events that that take place in Shanghai, Antalya, Salt Lake City, Berlin and Rome.
