The Huayu Enrichment Scholarship, established by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, offers foreign nationals, including Thai students, the opportunity to pursue Mandarin Chinese language studies in Taiwan. This Scholarship seeks to strengthen Taiwan’s international relations and foster a deeper understanding of its culture and language. Applicants, regardless of their Chinese language proficiency, may select from programs of 3, 6, 9 months, or 1 year in duration.
Scholarship recipients will attend accredited language centers recognized by the Ministry of Education and receive a monthly stipend of NT$25,000 to support both tuition and living expenses. The application period is open from February 1st to March 31st annually, and we encourage Thai students to apply for this valuable opportunity.
In addition to advancing Chinese language proficiency, the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship offers students a unique opportunity to experience Taiwanese culture and engage with an international community.
