The women's volleyball team from National Kaohsiung Normal University in southern Taiwan visited the renowned Rangsit University in Thailand on June 25 this year for an exciting friendly match between Taiwan and Thailand. National Kaohsiung Normal University enjoys a prestigious reputation in Taiwan's higher education sector. Its women's volleyball team consistently ranks in the top three of the highest level of collegiate volleyball league for four consecutive years, and nurturing several national team players.
Led by Director Cheng, Han-Wu and Director Chen, Ying-Cheng from the Department of Physical Education, the delegation consisted of 6 staff members and 20 players, fulfilling Taiwan's Ministry of Education's sports-oriented New Southbound Policy by conducting training in Thailand. In this five-set match, both teams demonstrated equal strength and competitiveness, showcasing high-intensity athletic performance.
Rangsit University, as one of Thailand's top educational institutions, also boasts an excellent record in volleyball competitions. According to past competition records, Rangsit University’s volleyball team has achieved outstanding results in domestic and international tournaments, highlighting its strong competitiveness in volleyball.
This exchange not only deepened the friendly cooperation between Kaohsiung Normal University and Rangsit University, but also provided an opportunity for volleyball athletes from both countries to learn from each other and make progress together.
Players from National Kaohsiung Normal University expressed that they greatly benefited from this exchange and look forward to more opportunities for similar international exchanges and learning in the future.
