Taiwan Embassy, Medical Mission, and members from “Cancer Project”, “Taiwan-Africa Vegetable Initiative” and “Strengthening Metabolic Chronic Disease Prevention and Control System project” led by Minister Ching-Lin Tsuei, visited Pondo to conduct outreach health services and share the information of bilateral cooperation projects. The residents responded enthusiastically, with as many as 739 people coming for treatment!
On behalf of local people, Hon. MP Bonginkhosi Dube much thanked the Taiwanese team for providing free medical services as well as generously donated rice and clothes, which greatly benefited the people in the countryside where medical resources are scarce.
Taiwan Embassy and Medical Mission will continue to visit remote areas to provide outreach services. Taiwan is helping and Taiwan will continue to help. No one will be left behind.
