A dedicated Taiwan medical team, led by Minister Ching-Lin TSUEI, set out to the vibrant inkhundla of Maseyisini in southwest Eswatini, bringing health and care to the residents. During this outreach, 667 ????????? ??????????? ??????? ?????????? from compassionate Taiwanese and Eswatini doctors, nurses, and volunteers. Team members from the “Cancer Project,” “Taiwan-Africa Vegetable Initiative,” and the “Women’s Business Start-Up Microfinance Revolving Fund” were also on hand to provide services to the community.
Locals received comprehensive treatment that included ??????? ????????????, ?????????? ?????-???, cancer screening, ???????????? ?? ??????????, as well as ?????? and ????????? ?????????, aimed at raising awareness for better health practices and balanced diets in the community.
Indigenous MP Nokuthula Dlamini expressed heartfelt gratitude for Taiwan’s generosity, highlighting the critical need for accessible medical care in rural areas where healthcare options are limited. With only one public hospital in the region, many residents struggle with high transportation costs, making this outreach even more vital. Taiwan remains committed to extending its medical outreach efforts, having already supported over 8,200 liSwati in 2024.
