Taiwan contributes to the implementation of ‘Swaziland Revenue Authority (SRA) Documents and Records Management System: Phase 2’ Project.

The donation ceremony was held at Swaziland Revenue Authority’s head office on 1 November 2017.
Phase 2 of this project aims to help SRA procure and install its computers’ software to bring efficiency in the scanning and capturing of essential documents and records, thus helping collect revenue on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland. Ambassador Chen said:“We are delighted to play a role by donating funds to enable the SRA to boost its efficiency. This is a win-win situation because we are not just helping the tax authority, but also government and the public at large. Everyone will benefit from the system.”
HRH Prince Hlangusemphi, Minister of Economic Planning and Development and Hon. Martin Dlamini, Minister of Finance thanked the Taiwanese government for the generous support, Prince Hlangusemphi said proper records management was vital for ease of access to required content to ensure an efficient and effective decision making process, especially in a dynamic service provider like the SRA, and further urged the SRA to fast track implementation and conclude the project in the current fiscal year as planned in the annual bilateral budget.
