University describes Prince as good ambassador for SD

Prince Buhlebenkhosi’s humble and courteous nature has earned him glowing accolades from his university’s administrators.
The prince is enrolled at the Shih Chien University in Taipei, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in International Business Management course.
His Majesty was told yesterday that the young Swazi royal is also not shy of promoting Swazi culture to his colleagues.
The university’s President Michael Chen, said he had no doubt that Prince Buhlebenkhosi would be an asset to Swaziland.
“It would not surprise me to see him sit as one of the top company executives in the near future,” he said.
A mini documentary of the life of the prince on campus was shown to the King, Inkhosikati LaMotsa and delegation during a tour of the university.
The students also displayed their skills in producing impressive Swazi traditional attire.
Symbolic
The king and inkhosikati were presented with gifts symbolic of their birth days in appreciation of the visit. Speaking after the tour, His Majesty applauded the university administration and the Taiwanese government for opening doors to foreign students to study and benefit from their advanced facilities.
He said the country had prioritised education in her efforts to attain a first world status which required a well educated citizenry.
“We are pleased to hear that the prince has settled in very well and has displayed a commendable character that promotes the Swazi way of life,” he said.
“We highly appreciate the support we continue to receive from our friends - the Republic of China on Taiwan by providing scholarships for university education to our young people. “This great nation has opened doors for our children to pursue different degrees in a variety of disciplines. We are already enjoying the fruits of these programmes in many sectors in the kingdom.
Technology
“We are therefore, looking forward to all eMaswati who are studying here in Taiwan to export all the technology back to the kingdom so that we can also take a development leap in the country”, he said.
The king wished the university success in its future endeavours as it provides young people with skills that will usher them into the future. “Your Excellency the ambassador, please pass our warmest regards to the president, government and the people of Taiwan for the kind affection and kindness that they always extend to our people who visit Taiwan for a variety of programmes,” he said.
