2026 (National Taiwan Library Fellowship for International Visiting Scholars) Now Open for Applications!

We sincerely invite international scholars to join the fields of Taiwan Studies and Southeast Asian Studies, and to conduct in-depth research and academic exchange in Taiwan!

? Eligibility

Applicants must be affiliated with overseas universities or research institutions and meet one of the following:

Professors, associate professors, assistant professors, lecturers, PhD students, or postdoctoral researchers.

Researchers recommended by institutions that have signed an MOU with the Library, with research topics related to Taiwan Studies or Southeast Asian Studies.

? Research Topics

Applicants should focus on the humanities and social sciences, with topics limited to Taiwan Studies or Southeast Asian Studies.

One letter of recommendation

Approval letter from the head of your institution

? Airfare subsidy: up to NT$35,000 (Northeast & Southeast Asia) or NT$60,000 (other regions)

? Monthly stipend:

PhD holders: NT$60,000
Non-PhD: NT$40,000
