Taiwan welcomes foreign talents’ applications for the Taiwan Employment Gold Card. If you are a foreign talent specialized in the science & technology, economy, education, culture & arts, sport, finance, law, architecture or national defense area, and meet certain qualifications, you would be eligible to be an applicant.
This 4-in-I card, which includes a resident visa, work permit, Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), and re-entry permit, provides the following benefits:
• Open-end work permit issued to employment-seeking individuals that require neither pre-confirmed hiring by or application through any employer.
• Income tax deduction and exemption.
• Lineal relatives can apply for visitor visas with a maximum stay of up to one year.
• Spouses and children can apply for residency in Taiwan as well.
• Employment Gold Card holders and their dependent relatives, can directly join the National Health Insurance system
