Taiwan Embassy donates 1,000 USD to Belau National Museum

On November 24, Ambassador Jessica C. Lee delivered a check of $1,000 to Belau National Museum (BNM), in support of the Museum’s annual publication “State of the Palau’s Birds.” In attendance were BNM Director Olympia E. Morei-Remengesau, Manager for BNM Natural History Section Dr. Ann Kitalong, and Field Ornithologist Milang Eberdong.
BNM holds community bird watching activities regularly in order to raise local awareness about Palau’s unique bird biodiversity. The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in the Republic of Palau supports this action, and hopes to strengthen the general public’s awareness of ecology conservation and environmental sustainability through this donation.
