he 6th APEC Energy Smart Communities Initiative Best Practices Awards Program Opens for Applications
The 6th APEC Energy Smart Communities Initiative (ESCI) Best Practices Awards Program, a regional initiative organized by Taiwan’s Energy Administration under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, has officially opened for applications.
This prestigious program focuses on recognizing outstanding initiatives and projects related to smart energy policies. The theme for this year's competition is centered around energy smart related cases within the APEC region, with a primary focus on five key categories: Smart Transport, Smart Buildings, Smart Grids, Smart Jobs and Consumers, and Low Carbon Model Town.
The awards ceremony is slated for August 2024, with two winners to be selected from each of the five categories. The awards ceremony and presentation will be held in conjunction with the EWG 68 meeting.
Interested parties are invited to submit their applications online by the deadline of May 31, 2024 (Taiwan Time UTC+8).
