Taiwan held “Nigeria-Taiwan Business Forum” in Lagos on May, 2024.

On May 2024, nine Taiwanese companies and MAXXIS Tyre, a Taiwanese-owned Company in Nigeria, participated a major trading promotion event “Nigeria-Taiwan Business Forum” in Lagos with the aim to strengthen bilateral trade between Nigeria, West Africa, and Taiwan.
The business forum and trade activities were eventful with hundreds of Nigerian participants in attendance. Among them included leaders from NACCIMA and Japanese company Marubeni’s Nigerian branch who joined in fruitful exchanges with Taiwanese attendees from Easywell Waters, Globe Industry, Lien Chiny Enterprise, Mobiltron Electronics, Ou-Dean Foods, Shue Tung Machinery, Voltron’s Power, We’ll Electronics, Yu Tong Steel, MAXXIS Tyre, and more.
The successful trade promotion event was organized by TAITRA’s Taiwan Trade Center in Lagos. Representative and Chief of Taiwan Mission in Nigeria Mr. Andy Liu made remarks at the opening ceremony on Nigeria and Taiwan’s mutually complementary economic and industrial cooperation and expressed that both sides should continue supporting each other to foster long lasting collaborations.
