Ambassador Lien, Yu-Ping attended the celebration marking the first anniversary of Pope Leo XIV’s pontificate hosted by the Apostolic Nunciature in Malaysia on May 8, joining distinguished guests and members of the diplomatic corps in extending heartfelt congratulations.
During his remarks, Apostolic Nuncio to Malaysia Wojciech Załuski highly praised Pope Leo XIV’s remarkable influence over the past year in promoting world peace, interfaith dialogue, humanitarian concern, and global solidarity. Ambassador Lien also conveyed her sincere congratulations on the first anniversary of Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration.
Taiwan will continue to deepen its friendly cooperation with the Holy See, working together to advance shared values of democracy, freedom, and human rights, while further strengthening international friendship and global collaboration.
