11 Taiwan Scholarship recipients from St. Kitts and Nevis will soon depart to Taiwan for their advanced studies.
In the scholarship awarding ceremony on Aug. 18, Ambassador Lin, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, and Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Geoffrey Hanley encouraged the Scholarship awardees to excel in their academic pursuit in Taiwan, while experiencing Taiwanese culture and introducing St. Kitts and Nevis to their Taiwanese friends. We are sure these outstanding students will make remarkable achievements in their studies and contribute to their beloved home country.
The 11 recipients of "MOFA Taiwan" and "Taiwan ICDF" scholarships are Jermellia Henry, Dahjaal James, Vadelle Jarvis, Zidane Knight, Devon Peters, Lestron Simpson, Deonje Woodley, Hakim Blackmoore, Teresa Dias, Everton Liburd, and Rasarles Nisbett. Their targeted fields of studies include Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Engineering, Architecture, Epidemiology, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Tropical Agriculture, and Journalism and Mass Communication.
