Ambassador Tom Lee has completed his 3-year term and headed back to Taiwan on June 27, with plenty of fond memories and a long list of accomplishments.
During his tenure in St. Kitts and Nevis, Amb. Lee oversaw the visits of President Tsai, Minister Wu, an honour guard corps and two economic missions to the Federation; helped 41 Kittitian and Nevisian students secure scholarships for advanced studies in Taiwan; facilitated the signing of five bilateral agreements; saw the trade amount more than quadrupled between our two countries; concluded two technical cooperation projects and promoted four new ones, all of which are vital in benefiting the people and advancing sustainable development.
Over the past 3 years, Taiwan and St. Kitts & Nevis have developed deeper and more cordial ties, and stepped up cooperation in infrastructure, social security, public health, ICT, trade, culture, education and so on.
Thank you, Ambassador Lee, for all you have contributed to the ever stronger Taiwan-SKN relations, a cause for which we will continue to work relentlessly and passionately. We wish you every success and Godspeed in your future endeavours.
