On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn MoonFestival, TECC hosted a Mandarin Speech Competition for the Delhi region, bringing together more than 40 students and teachers from the University of Delhi, Ashoka University, Shiv Nadar University, O.P. Jindal Global University, and NorthCap University to experience Taiwanese traditions and culture.
The programme began with student presentations introducing the significance and traditional customs of the Moon Festival, followed by engaging Mandarin skits and musical performances.
The event reached its highlight with the Mandarin Speech Competition, where students demonstrated their fluency, confidence, and creativity. Ambassador Mumin Chen graced the occasion and personally presented awards and certificates to the winners, recognising their outstanding performance and efforts. He congratulated all participating students and winners, and looks forward to their continued enthusiasm for learning Mandarin and exploring Taiwanese culture.
