Amb. Mumin Chen recently visited the historic city of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh at the invitation of the Royal Scindia Family.
During his visit, Amb. Chen met with faculty and students at Jiwaji University and The Scindia School, introducing Taiwan and sharing insights into Taiwan–India relations. He also visited Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (RVSKVV), and the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), where he engaged with students and educators from a range of fields.
The visit also included the magnificent Jai Vilas Palace and the historic Gwalior Fort. Gwalior’s rich history, vibrant cultural heritage, and strong educational traditions left a deep impression.
Beyond our growing economic and technological cooperation, Taiwan and India have tremendous potential for people-to-people exchanges. We look forward to expanding exchanges in youth, education, culture, tourism, and other fields, further deepening our friendship and bringing the people of Taiwan and India closer together.
