The Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India (TECC in India) has recently taken notice of unauthorized recruitment advertisements and misleading information circulating online that claim to offer employment opportunities in Taiwan for Indian nationals.
TECC in India wishes to remind the public that, although Taiwan and India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on labor cooperation, the relevant implementation mechanism has not yet been established, consequently the recruitment of Indian migrant workers to Taiwan has not officially commenced.
The public is therefore strongly advised to exercise caution when encountering recruitment information claiming to offer immediate employment opportunities, guaranteed work permits, or visa arrangements in Taiwan. All such information must be carefully and thoroughly verified through official channels before taking any action.
To safeguard personal rights and interests, TECC in India advises the public to:
- Exercise extreme caution when responding to recruitment advertisements or job offers related to employment in Taiwan.
- Carefully verify the authenticity of any recruitment information through official sources.
- Refrain from making payments or disclosing personal identity documents to unverified individuals or organizations.
- Consult the official updates issued by the competent authorities of Taiwan regarding employment policies, work permits, and visa requirements.
