台灣與印度各界期盼已久的「#駐孟買辦事處」正式揭牌運作啦！

我國駐印度代表葛葆萱大使與首任駐孟買辦事處處長張均宇總領事昨天共同主持揭牌儀式暨國慶酒會，印度前國會議員庫瑪等各界人士及當地領事團成員超過百人出席祝

外交部長林佳龍在致詞影片表示，台灣與印度關係自1995年雙方互設代表處以來持續升溫，如今新設「駐孟買辦事處」，展現台灣 #新南向政策及印度 #東行政策對接下互動的成果，並期許雙方在經貿、投資、科技及文教等領域深化合作。

駐孟買辦事處也成為台灣在印度設立的第３個駐外機構，將成為連結台灣與西印度的橋樑，也將與「駐印度代表處」及「駐清奈辦事處」共同合作，深化台灣與印度互利共榮的關係

Our new Mumbai office says Namaste!

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in Mumbai opened its doors at a ceremony and National Day celebration hosted by Representative to India Baushuan Ger and the new office director Chang Chun-yu recently.

MOFA Minister Lin Chia-lung recorded a special video message for the event, observing how relations have warmed since the mutual establishment of representative offices in 1995. He added that the addition of the Mumbai office is a result of both Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy and India’s Act East initiative and stated that he looks forward to strengthened cooperation in terms of trade, investment, tech and cultural exchange.

This is Taiwan’s third office in the country and it will serve as a bridge to the eastern region, working with the existing offices towards the joint prosperity of Taiwan and India.
