Taiwan-Finland’s first artist-in-residence project on stone sculpturing is a great success
The art sculpture "Prosperity," crafted by Taiwanese stone artists during a one-and-a-half-month residency in Finland and donated by Hualien County, Taiwan, to the Rautavaara municipality, was unveiled and officially handed over on August 13 at Rautavaara Market Square. The event was attended by over 400 people.
This sculpture, which is 200 cm tall, 90 cm wide, and 90 cm deep, will be permanently displayed in the center of Rautavaara.
We welcome Finnish friends, overseas Taiwanese, and Taiwanese tourists visiting Finland to go to Rautavaara to admire the stunning work of the Taiwanese artists.
We would like to once again express our gratitude to the Hualien County Government for its strong support of this meaningful Taiwan-Finland cultural exchange project. Together, we have made it happen!
