【Notice】Beware of Online Scams: Do Not Click Suspicious Links or Submit Personal Information
分享到
Recently, scammers have impersonated Taiwan’s National Immigration Agency (NIA) and created fake websites (https://immigration.vercelogin.com) to trick users into entering personal information such as names and ID numbers, claiming to verify whether they possess identity documents issued by the People’s Republic of China (PRC). These are phishing attempts to steal personal data.
• Some scam messages even include a fake service hotline, such as "+886-2-2388-1985", to increase credibility. This phone number is not official. Please do not call it, as it may lead to further fraud.
• The NIA has officially stated that it has never requested the public to submit personal data online and has not established any platform to verify possession of PRC identity documents. Such messages are fraudulent. Do not believe, do not click, do not enter any data, and do not share.
