We welcome the Communication of the European Chips Act from the European Commission published on 8 February

We welcome the Communication of the European Chips Act from the European Commission mentioning that Taiwan is one of the like-minded partners in exploring international cooperation of Semiconductor. It also recognized Taiwan’s capability of manufacturing the most advanced chips.

 

We also welcome Thierry BRETON, European Commissioner for Internal Market recognizing Taiwan’s important role and expertise of semiconductor manufacturing.

 

Taiwan will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in different areas with the EU.
