It is once again the season for family reunions. Director General David Cheng-Wei Wu was delighted to attend the Mid-Autumn Festival and Birthday Celebrations hosted by the KMT Australia branch.
DG Wu mentioned that the NSW Parliament’s pro-Taiwan?? motion in June follows the Federal Parliament’s emergency motion in August supporting Taiwan’s participation in international organizations. This reflects the strengthening relationship between Taiwan and Australia. DG Wu also highlighted the importance of Australia’s role as the chair of the CPTPP in 2025 and emphasized that its support for Taiwan’s bid to join would be invaluable.
DG Wu expressed his gratitude to the Taiwanese communities for their continued support and wished everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.
