Ambassador Douglas Hsu and Madame Hsu, along with colleagues and families from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), attended the Lunar New Year Celebration hosted by the Taiwanese Association of Canberra, Australia (TACA).
In his remarks, Ambassador Hsu shared that this year is the Year of the Snake, a symbol of agility and wisdom. He expressed his hopes that everyone will wisely overcome the challenges that come their way this year.
Ambassador Hsu also extended his gratitude to the leaders and volunteers of TACA for their enthusiasm and innovative actions that have helped to raise Taiwan’s visibility. He looks forward to more collaborations with TACA in the upcoming year, believing that through creativity, cooperation, and passion, Taiwan will be heard and seen more, strengthening Taiwan's relevance to Australia.
In addition, Ambassador Hsu took the opportunity to remind attendees to be cautious of potential scams.
The event was attended by over 100 people, with a joyful and energetic atmosphere throughout.
