Ambassador Hsu, Director General Wu of TECO in Sydney, and Executive Director Kuo, along with Vice President Wang, Deputy Director Hong, Director Shiau of of Taiwan Power Company visited NSW Bengalla coal mine, which is invested by Taiwan Power Company.
General Manager Cam Halfpenny of the coal mine and team managers briefly demonstrate their dedication and passion for the mining industry, emphasising the commitment to the safety and health of employees.
Bengalla mine is an open pit coal mine with a low strip ratio, competitively priced and environmentally compliant. It holds high-quality coal with high calorific value and low ash content.
The first batch of coal was shipped to Taiwan in 1999, marking 25 years of successful cooperation between Taiwan and Australia in mining. We look forward to continuing and developing the mining partnership between two countries.
