Majuro- H.E. Ambassador Bruce J.D. Linghu will be leaving his current post back to Taiwan for a new assignment at the ROC Ministry of Foreign Affairs after having served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) since March 2007.
The ROC (Taiwan) Government has nominated Mr. George T.K. Li as H.E. Ambassador Linghu’s replacement. The RMI Government has officially granted its agreement to this nomination of Mr. Li as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the ROC (Taiwan) to the RMI.
Ambassador Li is currently the Deputy Representative of ROC Mission in Indonesia. His diplomatic career includes service experiences in Ireland, Malawi and the United Kingdom.
